BENEFITS OF ORGANIC HEMP SHEETS/ BEDDING
Hemp bedding is the best sustainable alternative to conventional materials. Hemp is grown without harmful pesticides and requires far less water than plants like cotton. Hemp bedding is naturally breathable, thus helps to regulate body temperature. Hemp fibers are also hypoallergenic. Therefore, hemp bedding is an ideal choice for sensitive skin or allergy sufferers. With regards to durability, hemp fibers are strong and durable. The fabric, however, softens with each wash without wearing out, and it’s easy to care for.

JUTE AND COTTON BLENDS TO MAKE A SOFTER & SUSTAINABLE FABRIC
Researchers, Barsha et al. and Morshed et al., believe that the jute-cotton blended fabric has a serious potential to be used as a sustainable fabric around the world. New products can also be created. These include jeans, curtains, bed covers, and other things for our homes. Using jute can help protect our environment and support the growth of the apparel and textile industries. It could also help the country’s economy by reducing the need to import cotton or relying too much on cotton. It's a great step towards a more sustainable future in textiles.

JUTE MANUFACTURING PROCESS: FROM FARM PLANTS TO JUTE FABRIC
Turning jute plants into fabric takes many steps. First, the jute plant is grown in warm, rainy places. Jute doesn’t need much water, fertilizer, or pesticides, so it’s better for the planet when compared with other fibers. After it grows tall, farmers harvest the stalks. It takes about 3 months for the jute plant to be ready for harvest. After harvesting, the leaves are removed in a step called defoliating. Next, the stalks go through the retting process to help loosen the fibers. Thereafter the fibers are separated and combed, spun into threads, woven into fabrics, and go through finishing treatments.

WHAT IS JUTE FABRIC: USES, ADVANTAGES & CHALLENGES
Jute fabric is strong and natural. It comes from a jute plant. It’s used all over the world to make useful things like bags, rugs, bath mats, clothes, burlap table cloths/table linen, and eco-friendly packaging. People love jute because it is good for the planet. Jute breaks down naturally, grows fast, and doesn’t need much water or chemicals. Even though jute can be rough, shrink in water, or be hard to dye, scientists and manufacturers are finding smart ways to fix those problems.

ORGANIC HEMP/COTTON BEDDING: PROCESS OF BLENDING COTTON AND HEMP FABRICS
Blending cotton and hemp makes a strong, eco-friendly fabric that feels soft and lasts a long time. To make this fabric, both cotton and hemp fibers have to be cleaned, softened, and mixed together. This fabric is used for hemp/cotton bedding items such as sheets, bed covers, or even night wear. After cleaning, fibers are spun into yarn, woven or knitted into fabric, and then finished as sustainably as possible.
